From the moment I stepped into Sofitel Kunming, I was enveloped by an impeccable sense of service and genuine hospitality. The staff’s politeness truly stood out, always eager to assist and ensure a delightful stay. My room was an oasis of comfort and cleanliness, showcasing the attention to detail that Sofitel is renowned for. The morning international buffet spread was a delightful culinary journey, offering an array of dishes to suit all palates. However, it was the evening international seafood and BBQ buffet that truly stole the show. With complimentary wine, a refined selection of caviar and foie gras, and an extensive spread of gourmet offerings, it was a dining experience to remember. Thank you, Sofitel Kunming, for an unforgettable stay; I’ll undoubtedly return.

Swimming pool warm water and high floor room. Service was good too. Our first night room was little warm and next day hotel gave us change another better room. 👍👍👍

Prompt service, friendly staff, sincere effort to make you comfortable. Special mention of Mr James Ding, Mr. Kevin Lee the manager friendly boss and extremely polite and humble. We planned to stay for only 3 nights but because of their hospitality and friendly gesture we extended our stay by 2 nights.. we have stayed in many hotels around the world but never found such a wide spread of breakfast with so many varieties to cater for Chinese and international taste. Even got my breakfast customized to my taste.

Stayed at the Club Room and the service at the club lounge was impeccable with very good food and drinks selection. I was even advised where to get the best sunset shots. The breakfast spread was huge and the view was excellent. Room was big and roomy and clean.

Breakfast buffet was great. Huge amount of choices and great view from the 49th floor. The lounge on the 48th floor was really nice. With nice drinks and a delicious buffet. The staff throughout the hotel were lovely and very helpful.

Our stay in Kunming Sofitel was exceptional, the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, our room facilities are clean and nicely presented, the view from the room is really nice. Plus the club lounge and breakfast are also top quality standards. We specifically asked for fast WiFi connection and it worked out very well. We felt our stay here was impeccable and will definitely come back the next time we’re in Kunming.

Great service, especially from James (one of the concierges at the hotel) who was instrumental in making our stay a delight. We opted to splurge a bit, seeing that we weren't able to travel for over a year due to the pandemic, and the Club access is definitely worthwhile in our opinion. Good spread of snacks and light food during the Happy Hour (6-8pm) and plenty of choices for drinks. Breakfast was delicious and there was ample choice available. Room was pretty, spacious, and had a great shower.
